Serve as a subject matter expert to support front line sales in validating application input in order to comply with issuance of the LE / Initial Disclosure package and RESPA Change of Circumstance re-disclosure.
Prepare and issue Preliminary Closing Disclosure which includes gathering fee and payee information from related third parties such as title companies and realtors.
Participate in the training of other colleagues, system testing and other projects as assigned. Allocate work assignments by compiling and disseminating daily reports.
Other responsibilities include, disclosing the appraisal to the borrower, flood insurance review and validation and reviewing the accuracy of signatures and dates on initial disclosures.
Must be detail oriented and have a strong sense of urgency in a highly deadline driven environment. Remain current on all regulatory guidelines and updates, ensuring any disclosures issued to a borrower are done in a timely and compliant manner.
Specifically, the TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) rule.
This person will,
Prepare and issue Initial Disclosures within 3 days of the application date. Review documents and validate for accuracy. Ensure Loan Estimate has correct fees disclosed.
Review and validate that all application disclosures have been properly executed with signatures and dates.
Retrieve appraisal from centralized software system and review for value and attach appraisal and update loan origination system accordingly.
Contact loan officer and loan processor regarding value and inform of change in value compared to value input on system. Ensure appraisal is mailed to borrower within 3 days of receipt.

2-4 years In a financial environment that includes experience with real estate loans. Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to loan programs, closings and real estate transfers. Required
